John W. McCollum

John McCollum is the founder and president of Wynden Capital Management, LLC. He has more than 15 years experience in investment management. Mr. McCollum began his career in sales and trading for Cowen & Company and later Harris, Webb and Garrison. He held senior positions in operations, business development and treasury at Dell Computer Corporation and Dell Financial Services, LP. Prior to founding Wynden Capital, Mr. Mccollum served as chief investment officer for Heritage Trust Company.

In 1992, Mr. McCollum received his bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University. Then in 1997, he received his master’s in business administration from the University of Texas at Austin. Mr. McCollum also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Mr. McCollum serves as trustee for the CFA Society of Atlanta, the John Austin Cheley Foundation in Estes Park, Colo. and the Buckhead Christian Ministry in Atlanta, Ga. He also serves on the board of directors for the McCombs MBA Alumni Network.

Mr. McCollum and his wife have three children. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing and being outdoors.
