Mr. Kerrick joined Heritage Trust as vice president, director of marketing in 1997, bringing with him more than 50 years of banking experience, 16 years of which are directly related to the trust industry.
He began his career at First National Bank & Trust Company in Oklahoma City where he worked in several departments and held numerous titles from assistant cashier to executive vice president in charge of operations. After that, he served as president of First Data Management Company for several years before moving to Continental Federal Savings & Loan as executive vice president. After leaving Continental, Mr. Kerrick joined Liberty National Bank and Trust Company where he served as vice president and marketing director for personal trust services until he joined Heritage.
Mr. Kerrick holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Oklahoma City University and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin.
In his many years of service to the community, Mr. Kerrick has served as an officer, director and trustee of a variety of civic, educational and cultural organizations, including: The American Institute of Banking, Oklahoma City University, The Private Industry Council, Oklahoma Saving League, Prevent Blindness Oklahoma, The Children’s Center, Oklahoma Planned Giving Council, Oklahoma Estate Planning Council and INTEGRIS Foundation’s Planned Giving Council.
He has also served as past president and board member of the Arts Council of Oklahoma City where he co-chaired the 1984 Spring Arts Festival and the 1995 Wintertales Storytelling Festival.
Currently, he serves as trustee of the Westminster Presbyterian Church Foundation and is an elder of the church.
Mr. Kerrick and his wife, Barbara, have been married 50 years. They have two daughters and nine grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis in a men’s league and attending University of Oklahoma football games.
