OKLAHOMA CITY -Heritage Trust Co. has
named Stephen B. Payne Jr. chairman of the board. He succeeds
Nancy Payne Ellis, who was named chairman emeritus.
"This change is about being there for the next generation," said
Ellis. "Our trust business is successful because of the value we
place on relationships over a lifetime and over multiple
generations. Because our focus is long-term, when we create a
trust for someone today, we'll be working very closely with their
children in 20 or 30 years. Our ability to help our customers
distribute their assets to the next generation means that Heritage
Trust had to do the same. By appointing Bond to lead our
organization, we offer our customers strength and continuity for
years to come."
Heritage Trust is a service-based, independent trust bank that
provides personal service, financial stewardship and investment
performance. Its clients include executives, retirees, widows,
widowers, foundations and other non-profit organizations.

Board of Governors. Payne also is president of the Oklahoma City
Downtown Club.
